Printed Lavender

Finally, I’m presenting to you my blog’s styling section! It did take me quite some time to post this because I
kinda’ got my hands tied up for the past months. Anyway, I’m so glad that I get to show you more than just
 my boring face. Haha
This look was for the March 21, 2014 issue of Cebu Daily News in their Lifestyle Section which was
entitled “Tropical Man”. It’s written by Edward Castro who also happens to be one of the senior stylists of
Blaq Mafia (the styling group I work under). There were three look pegged for the summer and I’ll be
blogging about them soon. So, hold your horses! haha
Model: Jem Cubil
Clothes: Topman
Grooming: Chady Pantaleon

Since this is my first ever blog post for my styling section, I’ll definitely start it with a bang! haha The model
for this look happens to be no other than Jem Cubil. He’s a very nice guy (and I’m not being nice saying that)
and no hassle to work with! The clothes were provided by Topman which I was very happy about. Come
on! Who could go wrong with Topman? Haha
We aimed for looks that are somewhat far from the usual but still made sure that guys would still want to
wear them. This one revolves around the color lavender. Floral is still in craze this year but the jersey shirt
from Topman gives a dark tone. Some guys just still feel that floral prints are too feminine so maybe this shirt
can be a transition to try it. The good thing about the shirt too is that it’s made from jersey making it light and
comfortable during the sunny days! The lavender cut offs (yes! I meant the lavender shorts haha) isn’t just
plain lavender because it has this rustic finish to it but it still sets the color scheme for the whole look.

To top it all off, the venue was at Crimson Resort and Spa! I have also yet to blog about that. Maybe, I’ll
make a blog post about my whole summer.
