Grapes
This photo was taken during “Labor Day” here in the Philippines. Everyone seemed to be prepared to go out and party that day. Some even go to Boracay to take part in the famous “Laboracay” event which involves heavy partying by the beach and, sadly, trashing the wonderful island. I’ve never been to that event but I don’t have plans either. Maybe soon, I’ll try it out but I’m the chill kind of guy for now. My friends and I went to Batayan island instead! It’s just near from us and there were three of us who have never been to the island. Yes, it was my first time! Haha.…

Blue Horizon
My girlfriend and I recently went to Kalanggaman island and it was amazing. If you have seen photos of that island and you think it’s awesome. Well, in reality, it is! You totally have to experience it. As usual, we came in prepared with our clothes. Haha We actually have “photo shoot” as part of our activities on the island. Haha The water was clear and the sand whiter than snow white’s skin! Okay, not that kind of white but definitely white. Haha We had lunch first before we took photos then enjoyed the rest of the day exploring the island. You may have noticed that I’m not posting any…

Golden Hour
There’s something about Gold that fascinates me. The element and it’s color, ofcourse. Like when I see something gold, I always check it out. Unless if it’s jewelry then, duh, ofcourse there is gold. What I mean is when I see gold sun glasses, like the ones I’m wearing in these photos. It could also be gold shoes which my girlfriend now has. Anything that is not “usually” Gold. I think it’s cool. Haha So, both my sun glasses and my shirt came from 21MEN. You know, that tiny section for men at Forever 21 which rarely, and I mean RARELY, goes on sale! Haha But yeah, I found those…

Roll Up
Hi there! Just arrived from Manila and my girlfriend’s already forcing me to make a blog post. Okay, she’s been telling me for weeks now. It’s different now, though, because I have new photos from our Manila trip and she’s excited about those photos. It will probably take several blog posts before you see those photos! haha In case it’s not obvious, I guess not, it was slightly raining on the day this photo was taken. The sun was high up as well which was a perfect combination for me to get sick. Luckily, I did not. In this particular photo, it’s obvious that I wasn’t happy with the weather.…

Moon Eyed
Once again, I’m posting a photo from last year haha Well, at least, this one was taken just months ago. I guess, my posts after this will be from last year because I haven’t taken any photos for this year yet. Anyway, the photos this time are particularly dark but it wasn’t intentional. My photos are usually taken during cloudy days or when the sun is just about to set. I don’t know why, or maybe I do, but I really love it when it’s quite dark. As far as I can remember, the photos turned out dark because we ran out of time. The reason why we ran out…

Star Spangled
So I’m starting this year with a look which was shot exactly one year ago! Now, aren’t I a stubborn blogger? Haha Once again, I have loaads of photos lined up to be published simply because I tend to do other stuff. Okay, this time I really did get busy and whenever I have free time… I’d rather sleep. Haha Or watch a movie! Enough of me trying to reason out my lazy ass. This look is the product of damaged clothing! The vest was originally a long sleeve denim shirt. It was accidentally spilled with a great ounce of bleach. The pants? It was collateral damage to the epic…

Photo by: Dan Douglas Ong Model: Angel Wella Lotus Pleated Jacket by: Axel Que White Origami Gown by: Shanon Pamaong Pleated Wooden Sculpture & Shagreen Top End Table from: Allison Tyler This is a continuation from my previous styling post “Tainted Love“. If you have read that post then you probably know that this one is coming as well as with all the other looks for Zee Lifestyle’s July issue! Haha Yes! Quite a long time ago but these looks are editorials so… time doesn’t really matter. What makes this photo cohesive are the pleats. No kidding, the pleated sculpture seriously goes well with the Lotus Pleated Jacket. The challenge…

Vintage
This was shot a long time ago! haha Okay, this was shot last year. Yes! A whole 12 months ago. Anyway, some of you might find this place quite familiar. It’s La Vie Parisienne in Cebu. This was way back when there were no glowing artificial trees yet. I don’t know about you guys but I really miss the intimacy of this place. Only a few knew about this place back then. Now, it definitely has become a tourist attraction. Photos by: Sophia Sanchez Pants: Oxygen Shoes: Milanos Okay, enough about the place and more about the look. I don’t usually go for the leather jacket look simply because I…

Tainted Love
Photo by: Dan Douglas Ong Model: Angel Wella Black Origami Dress by: Edward Castro Skeletal Armor Accessories by: Celine Borromeo Acrobat Hanging Lamp from: Kenneth Cobonpue This look actually came from one of my first ever styling stint. Well, I was not the brainchild of this look but… hey! I helped! haha I was working under Blaq Mafia and they were amazing! My jaw literally dropped while we were preparing looks for the shoot. This is where I learned how to make things work in order to create a look that’s fresh/new and out of the box without jeopardizing style. This was for Zee Lifestyle magazine for their July issue…

I am Mickey
I know this post is long overdue… like all the way to the other side of the earth! haha I’ve been juggling school, work, and everything in between which means I barely get enough sleep which also means I barely have enough time to blog. There’s good news, though! The shop I’m managing finally has wifi! Yeah! So now, I can work, study, and blog at the same time! =) I still have loads of blog posts to publish like this one! I think this was taken exactly a year ago. Yep! This was taken prior my blog even existed. So the main star of this look is, ofcourse, the…
