Sirao
Gorgeous, I mean the flowers not me. Haha My girlfriend literally begged me to go to this place at 4:30 in the morning! I slept late the night before and had a whole day ahead of me. Good thing it was all worth it. Sirao Celosia flower farm really is gorgeous.
I never thought I’d have my photo taken here because it was too girly but whatever! I basically had no sleep and had to drive uphill so might as well make the most out of it. These flowers are amazing anyway. They remind me of impressionist paintings or the trees from Lorax.
I’ve went back and forth to Sirao for that breath of fresh air. I have those times when I just want to get out of the city. I never went farther to these flower farms. This was my first time. There was one time I went to this area and I found beer bottles and trash scattered. It was frustrating! Today, it’s even worse. People who do not know how to respect the cleanliness and the residents of the area have infested this beautiful place. However, I salute those who visited and stood by this quote, “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time.”
We are all guests in this area and to destroy it is just disgusting. How would you feel if someone destroys the stuff in your house and leave garbage on the floor? And don’t even try justifying it. Be human. We are supposed to be thankful that we are able to see and experience beauty around us. Don’t be too selfish to waltz in and crush that beauty. Be thoughtful and be careful.

I am very thankful that I was able to visit Sirao without any other tourists around. The area was still at it’s pristine condition. It was seriously awesome. I’m glad that people have come to realize how beautiful this place truly is. I just hope that we can keep this place as it is… beautiful.
