To add zest to its nightly culinary showcase, the hotel invited three chefs from its sister hotel, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket, to take the lead in their kitchen.
For the entire duration of the food festival, from 10-18 September 2016, the guest chefs will be seen in action around The Sails, cooking and serving authentic yet diverse specialties that reflect the Thai culture, ingenuity and tradition.
Chef Bouby is proud to put the spotlight on the three guest chefs from Phuket, Thailand, namely Wiwat Yong-en, Sutee Yamkratho and Teenasit Nakrua.
Not only can guests taste the flavors of Thailand, but also find their way to the beautiful country of Thailand. Christmas is just right around the corner and I made a gingerbread house! Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu greets the holiday season with a Swissmas celebration for all families and guests.

Swiss holiday tradition of merrymaking and fun is brought to Cebu through the hotel’s in-house restaurant “Sails.”  They are having simple crafts and gustatory delights which families can enjoy and make memories that will surely count.

The hotel also offers holiday confections conveniently ready and available for you to bring home! =)

Paint and Decorate Your Gingerbread Man
Gather together all those tiny hands for some hand-made delights and colourful happenings in the hotel, scheduled every day at 10.30 am and 2.00 pm or take your children out to the beach garden where they can join special craft sessions from the 24th to the 26th of December 2015.

Meet and Greet Santa Claus
Surprise your children with a face to face encounter with St. Nicholas! Make sure to capture the moment during these hours: 830am to 1030am at The Sails, 330pm to 430pm at the Lobby, and at630pm to 830pm at The Sails.
Music and Lyrics
Take a moment to revel in soothing tunes as the children’s choir entertain guests with their rendition of timeless Christmas carols from 6pm to 7pm.
Swissmass Feast
Celebrate good tidings with a family feast at The Sails restaurant and indulge in a wide display of this season’s culinary delights and classic confections. Topping off the buffet spread are premium seafood such as Oysters, Prawns, Mussels, Crabs, and Scallops, as well as the famous Cebu Boneless Lechon, Steamed Grouper, and Roasted Turkey on the carvery. The Christmas Feast comes with a glass of welcome drink (sangria, fruit punch, or sparkling mimosa). Offered for dinner from630pm to 1030pm on the 24th and for lunch from 1130am to 230pm on the 25th of December 2015.
Buffet is at PHP 2,200 nett per person. Children 11 years old and below will get a 50% discount.
