A few months ago, we were lucky enough to have been invited to party with H&M at Movenpick in Mactan. It’s always a good time there whether you’re having dinner, chilling by the beach, or partying the night out! Awesome place and awesome friends! It was good vibes all the way.

I also got to meet new friends. Okay, they probably won’t remember me but we all had an amazing time. Haha Most of the time we are at an event with a mission but this time it felt strange in the first few minutes because we didn’t know why we were actually there. Then, we realized that they seriously just want us to have fun! Haha and so we did! Haha

I also got to catch up with my busy friends. This was actually very sudden. We weren’t sure if we were going there because we all had events and activities that day. However, we made it there last minute! Haha

So this is what I wore! I seriously wasn’t intending to go to the beach that day. It just so happened that I have decided to wear something that looks like summer but I’m taking a stroll in the mall! Haha I had to be at a bazaar that day and it was summer themed. That’s why I resorted to this look. Plus! I had to wear something comfortable because it’s scorching hot!

Tops in Cebu City is a definite tourist destination if you want to get an unparalleled view of the city! We’ve brought so many of our friends here and we never get sick of the view. It’s just awesome! I always have fun looking at buildings and identifying them from here.

This look is actually way over due! I wanted it to be shot during our vacation in Baguio. There was this scary abandoned building where we were supposed to visit. We weren’t able to wake up on time so we missed that visit. Haha So I set the whole look aside. It was way back in May! Haha Finally got a chance to have this look shot in Tops. I think it suits the place just fine. =)

The whole look depended on the jacket. Well, I chose the jacket before anything else because I like it a lot! Haha It wasn’t that hard to pair up. I just made sure there wasn’t anything else that clashes with the jacket. Like a printed shirt or flashy pants (which I don’t have). I seriously love the print on the jacket. It’s the highlight of this look. The shirt and pants are in solid colors. However, they are colors which you can find in the jacket. The color of the shoes and it’s sole can also be found on the jacket. These are small details which compliments the jacket without making it look odd. Always look for details, they can save you… sometimes. Haha =)

H&M finally opens at Ayala Center Cebu on the 27th! I got the chance to attend H&M’s VIP night yesterday and It was so fun! Got to meet friends and got to shop a few items as well. I can definitely say that this huge store will change the fashion scene in Cebu!

I’ve heard long ago that they will open a branch in Cebu and finally it’s here. I was so excited because of how wide the variety of clothes they offer for Men. I even found pieces there that I have been looking for months already! Haha They are reasonably priced as well. If you get lucky, these prices can go down at jaw dropping rates! Haha Watch out for that.

There’s something for every style here at H&M. What’s good about it is that you can basically never go wrong with these pieces. They are all so awesome. I did notice that they strategically place items based on style. Except for accessories and shoes. That way, you can easily pair things up as easy as 1, 2, 3! Haha

They also have clothes for the little men! Of course, their little girlfriends have choices too. That section in the store is just adorable.

They have quirky stuff in store. Just like that holiday inspired look. I also saw Homer Simpson bedroom slippers and a Christmas pug shirt! Haha

The store is so big! I didn’t notice until my feet got tired going up and down the floors. It is the largest H&M store in the whole Philippines after all. Visit them on the 27th to get first dibs on the latest trends from H&M. You can also line up before they open at 11 in the morning. The 1st one in line will receive Php 5,000 gift card. The 2nd and 3rd will get Php 2,500 gift card each. The 4th till the 300th will receive gift cards varying from Php 300 to Php 2,000! Or you can dress up fashionably in queue and be one of the 5 people who will receive Php 2,000 gift card! So line up. Hahaha

H&M will also open at SM Seaside City Cebu! =)

Black Hazard

I wore this look when we reached the summit of Mt. Pulag last May. It was cold but I only wore this look for the sake of using these pieces for pictures. As soon as we finished taking pictures, I immediately resorted to my white shirt and black pants combo. It was weird because everyone seemed to be freezing but I was still slightly sweating. I even folded the sleeves of my shirt.

I did have to make use of the jacket and the shawl pullover because I brought it all the way up to the summit. Trust me, it is very tiring trekking from base to 2,922 meters above sea level! How I wish, I only brought my flashlight and bottled water. Then again, since it’s a very long way up, we might as well make the most out of it.

The view was just spectacular! I still couldn’t get over it! I would love to go back there but maybe I’ll trek other mountains soon if I have the time. My girlfriend would probably not tag along. I think she’s still traumatized from the hours of trekking Mt. Pulag. She was extremely tired that she got sick for almost a week right after the trek. She still think it was worth it, though, but she wouldn’t be climbing any mountain for like… ever! Haha

It is essential to wear comfortable and sturdy clothing when trekking, hiking, or climbing. This one is an exception because, as you guys know, I only wore for the ensemble. Still, always do your homework in order for you to anticipate what are the appropriate outfits you should be wearing in your upcoming activities.

This combination is a no brainer. Hues are always easy to pair up. In this case, it’s a play of black and gray. I just made sure the contrast between the two is evident. I made the black pieces revolve around the gray shawl pullover. You can, however, wear an all black or all gray ensemble. Just make sure that there is difference in texture and tone otherwise you’ll end up looking like you’re wearing a onesie! Haha
